Warranty & Remake | Bremadent Dental Laboratory in London
Custom made dental appliances manufactured at Bremadent Dental Laboratory carry a full warranty. This warranty is your assurance that quality materials have been used during the manufacturing process in a quality controlled environment:
Manufacturing of work: We manufacture implant, digital, crown & bridge, prosthetics and orthodontic dental appliances all in-house in London with the exception of full arch titanium implant bars. All materials are sourced from reputable dental companies within the UK. All dental technicians are GDC registered and receive training via the PTC system which helps to ensure uniform standards of quality and technical precision. All work manufactured is quality controlled with department managers preforming the last inspection before despatch.
Quality control: With all of our cases we manufacture, we measure out powder/ water ratios for casting impressions and vacuum mix, with all of our denture acrylics we measure out powder / monomer ratios and follow strict guidelines on temperatures, working times and cooling down times from manufactures instructions of the materials to maximise the full chemical and mechanical properties of all our cases manufactured. All of the materials supplied are with in date and any reversible materials are disposed off after it’s cycle is complete.
All of the impressions are cast upon the same day of arrival, after casting the work is checked and signed in. The completed case is signed off by the technician and quality controlled by the department manager before leaving the premises to ensure the parameters (contacts, margin), extension, retention, stability, support & path of insertion are correct. The aesthetics, tooth positioning, occulsion & shade is checked against the RX instructions and notation provided.
Our warranty scheme:
The warranty does not cover any defect arising from incorrect prescription or fitting. The warranty becomes null and void if patient does not receive their annual dental check-up or in case of restoration failure due to oral health problems. No warranty can be given on products replacing immediate extractions. Damage caused by physical trauma or impact (for instance due to high-risk sports) is specifically excluded from our product warranty. We reserve the right to refuse a warranty where we believe that the requested product may not last the warranty period due to its particular circumstances. If instructed to continue with these cases, we will do so. However, in the event that the requested work fails, we will expect to be paid in full for the work supplied.
Remake policy:
A dental appliance that fits the master model poured from the original impression supplied by client and which is created to the specifications on the prescription of client, but subsequently has to be remade, is not considered a remake.
All remakes will be at no charge if received within 14 days of the invoice date except under the following circumstances:
If the original model(s) and dental restoration(s) are returned within 14 days from the original invoice date, Bremadent will issue a 100% credit to the dentist’s account. Any credit balance on the account must be used for lab services within 60 days from the date of issue or it expires.
Product Liability – specific returns and remake policy

If this occurs, the work should be returned within 14 working days after the invoicing date. The client allows Bremadent upto 14 working days after receipt of the returned dental appliance, to remake the work. If the quality of the work after the remake still does not meet the guaranteed standard, the work may be returned within 14 working days after the invoicing date for a refund which will be processed upon receipt of the returned work.
Any work returned for remake where the shade is different to the original order, will incur (some) cost. This extra cost will never exceed the total amount charged for the original order. When returning work containing precious or semi-precious alloys, Bremadent will charge for 40 % of the original alloy cost incurred. By fitting an dental appliance in the patient’s mouth, the client accepts that Bremadent has produced the appliance to the specification and satisfaction of client. If, when casting the models, Bremadent feels that the quality of the impression is not good enough to continue the work, Bremadent will inform client to discuss possible solutions. A new impression may be needed and – if so – remakes as a result of carrying on with the work by client, using the faulty impression, will result in new charges being applied.
Bremadent endeavors to interpret and follow client’s instructions correctly. If, however, a mistake is made, Bremadent will rectify the situation free of charge as quickly as production processes allow. Bremadent will not compensate dentist’s fees, consequential losses or expenses of any kind. The client is responsible for any additional costs or charges incurred through changing instructions or delivery dates after the work has been accepted by Bremadent. Bremadent is not liable for any choking hazard caused by any manufactured dental appliance, due to faulty prescription, poor fitting or misuse.
