Full Metal Crowns & Bridges | Bremadent Dental Laboratory in London
'Full Metal' solutions still offer the gold standard for strength, longevity, large span bridgework and many implant related cases. Metal / gold crowns & bridges are a good choice for out of site teeth (e.g posteriors) which require less tooth structure to be removed. Opposing tooth wear is kept to a minimum and can withstand high masticatory forces during chewing.
We train all our technicians in-house on the PTC system to quality control our crown & bridge standard. The PTC system ensures consistent results and defines parameters in aesthetics, occlusion, function, fit , margins and contact areas with every case quality controlled from impression to the final restoration.
We offer three types of dental alloys:
Precious:
This alloy has a composition that has over 60% noble metal ( gold, palladium or platinum) of which more than 40% is gold.
Semi-Precious:
This alloy has a composition of at least 25% noble metal.
Non – Precious:
This alloy has a composition less than 25% noble metal and sometimes consists of nickel, cobalt and chromium.
Technical Features:
Metal / Gold: Single unit anterior or posterior crowns, partial and full anatomical crowns, crowns on dentures, inlays / onlays and screw / cement retained implant crowns
Metal / Gold substructure: crown substructures for layering ceramic, multi-unit bridge substructures, customized implant abutments, precision attachments and telescopic crowns
