Shade Matching | Bremadent Dental Laboratory in London
We provide 'Shade Matching' services in our 'In-house Clinic' that guarantees 'Accurate' tooth shades. 'Shade Matching' requires 'Natural Day Light' in an 'ideal' environment. Our 'Dental Technicians' have been on courses in the U.K and U.S including Dr. Larry Rosenthal for 'Shade Taking' which give us the correct information to produce exceptional 'Aesthetics' and 'Function' tailored to the patient.
'Digital Photography' plays a vital role in achieving 'Excellent Aesthetics', we use a variety of 'Technology' and equipment in our laboratory including, 'DSLR Cameras', 'Digital Microscopes' and photo imaging software. Our experience also extends to 'Clinical Photography' and 'BACD' protocols.
'Optident True Shade' is a 'Shade Matching' microscope that creates 'Natural Day Light' and allows us to see the adjacent teeth under 'Magnification'.
We liaise with the patient and speak about there 'Aesthetic' demands and use 'Vita' shade guides to find the perfect shade. This information is then photographed for reference and 'Digital Manipulation'. We can extract details of 'Shade', 'Shape' and 'Surface Texture' from the images and use a grey scale to match exact shades and contours of the adjacent teeth.
Grey scale works similar to that of x-rays, it is based on two distinct colours 'White & Black' (neutral colours) and is composed exclusively of shades of grey. This allows for the shade tab to match the adjacent teeth in the exact shade in terms of 'Saturation' and 'Hue' rather than relying on colour thus making it more accurate.
We provide short CPD presentations on shade matching and digital photography to practices for their associates, which covers product information, advantages, selling points, limitations and clinical support, please phone us to book a short presentation.
