Dental 3D Printing | Bremadent Dental Laboratory in London
Dental 3D printing is used to create a working model or a dental restoration from an intraoral scan.
This CAM technology minimizes variables that can occur with conventional methods of manufacturing dental restorations. The key benefits of 3D Printing is excellent accuracy, consistency, less clinical time and wastage.
Our Bremadent digital has the latest equipment to accommodate digital dentistry services from dental 3D printing to CAD/CAM dental restorations, which are imported digitally from the leading intra-oral scanners on the market from any dentist around the world (3m, Sirona, Planscan, Trios, Itero, Carestream & many more) as intraoral scans (.stl files) or scanned from analogue (plaster) models.
Digital impressions rely on intra oral scanning which replaces traditional impressions by minimising variables that can occur with conventional methods and creates intraoral scan data. This is scan data is across to Bremadent as a .stl file via email or via the intraoral scanners own portal, which we will have access to download to create a 3D printed model. We can also transform analogue (plaster) models conventional impressions into digital .stl files.
Once we have the intraoral scan, we can accurately design the model ready for 3D printing and communicate with the dentist regarding the final restoration. Dental 3D printing can be used for a wide range of products in crown & bridge, implantology, prosthetics and orthodontics with many products being CAD/CAM milled or 3D printed from the .stl file. Once we have quality controlled the final restoration, the dentist will receive a perfect high end aesthetically pleasing, accurately fitting and functional restoration to manage the patient's expectations.
Technical Features:
The 3D print is designed from the scan data, directly from the intraoral scan. All 3D printed models are printed at 50 microns with the patients name. This 3D print then undergoes a automated wash/dry cycle with clean isopropyl alcohol (IPA) solution and then cured with the correct wavelength of UV light.
Bremadent digital is compatible with the following intraoral scanners: 3m, Sirona, Planscan, Trios, Itero, Carestream and many more. We can import direct from your intraoral scanners portal if you add us as your preferred dental laboratory or a .stl file sent via email to sendcase@bremadent.co.uk
