Digital Prosthetics | Bremadent Dental Laboratory in London
We offer the full range of complete prosthetic products from standard acrylic dentures to Swissedent All on 4 implant dentures. Our prosthetics department is run by our clinical dental technician Kash Qureshi who also runs the Swissedent Denture Clinic to treat patients for dentures. Kash has an understanding of the clinical and technical aspect of prosthetics by dealing with over 400+ denture related cases weekly and can communicate jargon free clinical support throughout.
We train all our technicians in-house on the Swissedent natural denture system to maintain and monitor our prosthetics standard. Swissedent utilises the patients facial and smile features, age and gender to produce natural dentures that restores physical appearance, optimum aesthetics and function, tissue support and comfort that benefits the patient, clinician and laboratory.
Bremadent digital has the latest equipment to accommodate digital dentistry services from dental 3D printing to CAD/CAM dental restorations, which are imported digitally from the leading intra-oral scanners on the market from any dentist around the world (3m, Sirona, Planscan, Trios, Itero, Carestream & many more) as intraoral scans (.stl files) or scanned from analogue (plaster) models.
The aim of new digital dental technology is to provide faster, accurate and consistent results with less variables in everyday practice for an integrated digital workflow.
All cases are digitally designed in 3D CAD from a intraoral scan or scanned from analogue casts , which gives accurate and clearly defined parameters with the prepared tooth, margins, contact areas and occlusion captured precisely and locked for the design. Our technicians will then be able customise any areas of concern within the parameters and design the restoration with natural anatomy from the locked parameters.
A wide range of products is available in crown & bridge, implants, prosthetics and orthodontics with many dental restorations being CAD/CAM milled or 3D printed once the case has been scanned, designed and approved.
Bremadent digital is connected directly with Implant systems from Dentsply, Strauman, ETK, Biomet 3 , Nobel Biocare, CAMLOG, DIO, Zimmer, Avinent and Atlantis with over 70 implant libraries that allows the dentist, dental laboratory and implant system to communicate accurately with less variables.
Technical Features:
Intraoral scan (Recommended)
1) We can import and design straight from your intraoral scan either through the intra oral scanners portal if you add us as your preferred dental laboratory or you can send the .stl file sent via email to [email protected]. This will introduce the least amount of variables.
Accuracy of the scan data: Analogue models or casts
2) We can scan directly from working models, analogue implant impressions, single or triple trays with one scan without the need to introduce variables e.g expansion rates, human error, chipped or broken teeth etc. The Accuracy is ISO 12836 with crown & bridge at 5 microns and implants at 8 microns.
Accuracy of the CAD design:
Once digitally scanned, the parameters of the prepared tooth, margins, occlusion is defined clearly and the parameters are locked with any areas of concern, customised within the locked parameters. The restoration can then be designed and altered with our natural anatomy library within the locked parameters.
Accuracy of CAM milled restoration:
The parameters of the scan & design are locked and cannot be altered further, the restoration is then milled from the locked parameters and then is pre-sintered in a controlled furnace. Once the restoration has been made, it is then fitted to a working model or 3D printed model with dies and then further to a solid model to minimize variables. This is then either stained & glazed or layered in ceramic dependent on the case. The restoration is then quality controlled for fit, aesthetics, occlusion, contact areas and margins.
Accuracy of 3D printed restoration
The 3D print is designed from the scan data, directly from the intraoral scan. All 3D printed models are printed at 50 microns with the patients name. This 3D print then undergoes a automated wash/dry cycle with clean isopropyl alcohol (IPA) solution and then cured with the correct wavelength of UV light.
Indications of use CAD/CAM :
Dental 3D printing, printed or milled complete & partial dentures, printed or milled tryins, cobalt chrome frameworks and Valplast flexible .
Common materials used in CAD/CAM:
IPS e.max, zirconia, PMMA, titanium, peekton, cobalt chrome (CoCr), non-precious and semi precious alloys.
