Every now and then, dentistry gets a small moment in the spotlight, even if it is hidden behind a scrum of professional athletes. England’s recent 33 to 19 win over New Zealand came with one of those moments for us at Bremadent. George Ford, who walked away with man of the match, was wearing a custom sports mouth guard crafted in our lab. We only spotted it afterwards when the photos started circulating, but we will happily take the victory in silence. It is not every day a World Cup level fly half is protected by something you made at a bench in Walthamstow.
A special thank you goes to Dr Anni Seaborne for trusting us with the case. This is the kind of partnership we love clinician and technician working together to keep athletes safe in a sport where tackles often resemble controlled collisions. While the crowd celebrates the tries, conversions and last minute sprints, dentistry quietly plays defence in the background, making sure the players’ teeth survive the match intact.

Have you ever watched one of those “point of view” videos where someone walks through a city and you feel like you are right there with them? Well, we have made one for you. Think of it as your personal guided tour from St James Street Station straight to Swissedent Denture Clinic and Bremadent Dental Laboratory in Walthamstow without the guesswork or the wrong turns.
Whether you are visiting us for the first time, returning for a fitting, or just curious about where all the magic happens, this video gives you a sneak peek of the local area and exactly how to find us with ease. So grab your cup of tea or coffee, hit play on the video below, and let’s take a stroll together through our corner of East London. Every now and then something comes along that makes you pause, smile, and think about why you got into dentistry in the first place. For us at Bremadent Dental Laboratory, that moment recently came in the form of an episode on the Dental Leaders Podcast.
This was not just another podcast about fillings, frameworks, or zirconia versus emax. This was about people, progress, and the passion that keeps dental labs and clinics ticking. Dentistry is an art, a science and sometimes a bit of magic. Every day dentists turn impressions, scans and treatment plans into confident smiles. But behind every crown that fits first time, every denture that looks natural and every implant that seats perfectly, there is a dental laboratory. The truth is that the right lab can make a dentist’s life easier, smoother and far less stressful. So why do dentists look for a decent dental lab and what does decent really mean in today’s world of modern dentistry. Let’s explore the reasons, with honesty, clarity and maybe a smile along the way.
Let’s be honest, choosing the right dental lab is like trying to find a unicorn that understands occlusion. Whether you’re crafting cosmetic veneers, NHS crowns or cutting-edge digital restorations, your lab partner can shape patient outcomes and your reputation.
If you’ve been googling phrases like “best dental lab UK 2025” or “top dental laboratories UK,” you’re in good company. This guide introduces you to five leading UK labs making a significant impact this year. Full disclosure before we dive in, our own lab, Bremadent Dental Laboratory, makes the top of the list. We’re the authors of this blog, so it would have been awkward to leave ourselves out. But we genuinely believe we deserve a spot, and we’ll let the rest of the list speak for itself. These are the labs your colleagues are praising for technology, quality, service and even a bit of humour. |
