Digital photography plays a pivotal role in achieving excellent esthetics, and we use a variety of technology and equipment in our laboratory including, DSLR cameras, digital microscopes and photo imaging software. Our experience also extends to clinical photography and we are able to advise on camera setups and BACD protocols, which give us the information to produce exceptional esthetics.
Shade matching is carried out using Optident True Shade lighting and where necessary we will create customized shade tabs with the relevant ceramic system. This information is then photographed for reference and digital manipulation, where we can extract details of shade, shape and surface texture.
Our in lab facilities even extend to video capture up to HD quality, which can be used to communicate case issues via the internet. With our pc linked magnification you see exactly what we see up to x 20, which provides unrivaled levels of information and means distance from our clients is no longer an issue.
